This breathtaking Handmade Afghan Sultani-Style Rug captivates with its serene cornflower blue/denim blue ground — a softer, more contemplative tone than its teal counterpart — upon which an all-over scrolling vine and vase composition unfolds in extraordinary detail and colour richness.

Slender arabesque vines trace an elegant lattice across the field, suspending an abundant display of ornate vase motifs, floral rosettes, pomegranate clusters, tulip blooms, and delicate butterfly-wing leaves in a vibrant multicolour palette of crimson red, emerald green, burnt orange, ivory, chocolate brown, gold, and purple. The vase motifs — each uniquely rendered in intricate checkerboard and geometric fills — are the centrepiece of the Sultani tradition, lending a regal, ceremonial grandeur to the composition.
