This exceptional Handmade Afghan Sultani-Style Rug is a dazzling showcase of classical floral artistry set against a serene ice red/powder red ground — a cool, airy backdrop that makes the vivid multicolour botanicals appear to leap from the surface with extraordinary luminosity.
The upper spandrel features a row of upright botanical spray motifs — cypress-style trees, floral urns, and leafy fronds — adding a formal, architectural quality to the top of the field. The rug is framed by a warm sand/taupe border densely filled with alternating upright botanical sprays in terracotta, green, and gold. Finished with natural ivory wool fringe on both ends.
